Inaugurated in San Giovanni del Dosso the new pedestrian bridge: with its construction Salumificio Pedrazzoli has contributed to the sustainability of the village and the birth of the company’s pre-slicing department!


For us at Salumificio Pedrazzoli, the environment is always a priority. That’s why we are so proud to have participated in the inauguration of the new pedestrian bridge in San Giovanni del Dosso, contributing to the sustainable mobility of our village.

This work, dedicated to the whole community, fosters and contributes to the spread of good practices of sustainable mobility, one of the issues that is closest to our heart and that we included, already years ago, in our Passione.Green manifesto (read it here).

The philosophy of organic and sustainability have been part of our corporate goals for years. These are values that we pursue and search for in everything we do and produce, which is why we decided to contribute to the construction of this bridge proudly and honorably – a much-needed intervention that made the community of San Giovanni del Dosso even greener and more sustainable!

The new pedestrian bridge in San Giovanni del Dosso, which was inaugurated on Sunday, May 22 in the presence of the community, Mayor Angela Zibordi and our owner Mauro, is another step toward connecting the residential area with all the other bicycle paths that cross the town, greatly increasing the possibility of reaching all points of interest on foot or by bicycle and making it even easier to move around in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.


A 360-degree commitment: the pre-slicing department


The construction of the new pedestrian bridge ties in with the structural intervention in which Salumificio Pedrazzoli invested in 2021.

This link, which was created as a compensatory work, has in fact also allowed us to extend our production area and give birth to a fundamentally important department: pre-slicing.

An area in which we take care of the sliced product, manually placing it in each tray to keep its craftsmanship intact and to faithfully preserve its quality characteristics, from aroma to flavor.

Only with this care and attention can we meet two requirements that are essential for us: being protagonists of the entire production process of our products, closing the circle of a healthy, respectful and traceable food chain (in line with the Farm to Fork guidelines, as we have written in this article) & to be able to store in the pre-packaged products, thanks to the internal management of the teamwork in the department, all the quality, uniqueness and craftsmanship of the shape and taste typical of Pedrazzoli products!
