One of the most famous Italian deli meats in the world, our Organic Salami dates back to the age of the Sforza and Visconti families, when pork was an important source of nutrition for the people.It is made from lean meat and rich fat, minced to the consistency of grains of rice. The mixture is cured with salt, cracked black pepper, ground white pepper, wine and, sometimes, garlic, before being left to mature for an average of 60 days.
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: Excellent with bread, particularly classic Milanese michetta bread; we recommend pairing it with young red wines such as Grignolino d’Asti or Monferrato Casalese.
