The idea for Salamini Bio 200 g came from a desire to satisfy the most extravagant of palates with five different flavours. These are small salami, but each unique in their way.
The raw material is lean pork meat from striated muscle tissue and hard fat, seasoned with salt and crushed or ground pepper. This simple, mild taste becomes the base for the different flavourings used in each of the salamini:Garlic in the Salamino all’Aglio; fennel in the Salamino al Finocchio; the Salamino Milano is subtly seasoned and has a classic taste (the salami is seasoned with white pepper); Truffle in the Salamino con Tartufo.
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: Their smaller size makes them perfect for picnics and snacking. They make perfect hors d’oeuvres, served with crusty bread. Their delicate aroma and lightly spiced flavour goes perfectly with white wines such as Colli Piacentini Ortrugo, and young, lively red wines, like Oltrepò Pavese Bonarda, Fresia del Piemonte or Colli Piacentini Gutturnio.
